Senior political science major Jonathan Coley received awarded the Dorothy G. Baker Campus Leadership award from the United Nations Association-USA Greater Birmingham Chapter. The award is given in order to recognize “outstanding student initiatives that contribute to public knowledge of international affairs and the work of the United Nations in the world or strengthen intercultural understanding and respect in the school and the community.” Jonathan received the award at the United Nations Association-USA Greater Birmingham Chapter UN Day Banquet on October 15. Dr. Andrew Westmoreland, president of Íò²©¹ÙÍø, was the featured speaker at the event. Jonathan is the third Íò²©¹ÙÍø student to receive the Campus Leadership award in two years.
